Our Mission

Rainbow Riders is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, professional, and affordable therapeutic horseback riding and un-mounted horsemanship opportunities that contribute positively to the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of children and adults with special needs in the community. Our team of experienced instructors and volunteers work together to create a supportive environment for our riders, where they can build confidence, develop new skills, and make meaningful connections with the horses and other riders.

What We Do

At Rainbow Riders, we offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs and abilities of each of our riders. Our therapeutic riding program focuses on using horses to improve physical strength, balance, coordination, and posture, while our un-mounted horsemanship program provides opportunities to learn about horse care, grooming, and handling. We also offer equine-assisted learning and therapy sessions, which use horses as co-facilitators to help individuals develop social and emotional skills. All of our programs are led by PATH International certified instructors and are designed to be fun, engaging, and supportive for our riders.
